Our Love Story

Every love story has a beginning. Lance and Madeleine's began with an argument.

During their first year of law school, they found themselves on opposite sides of an oral argument. With only their professor as the judge, Lance argued for the plaintiff while Madeleine advocated for the defendant. Each left convinced of victory, and to date, neither has conceded the case.

What they do agree on is that the argument marked the beginning of something neither of them could have imagined. A spirited debate turned into a lighthearted friendship, a loyal partnership, and an unbreakable love. Through late nights in the library, the challenges of new careers, and myriad adventures with one another, they found that the strongest partnerships are not built on steadfast agreement, but on mutual respect, laughing often, and choosing each other every single day.

In hindsight, it's fitting that their story began in a (hypothetical) courtroom. Though the question of who won that argument remains unresolved, everything that has followed has made the answer seem far less important. They are eternally grateful for every step that brought them here and are excited to celebrate the start of their next chapter with the people they love most.
